Lesson 1: No Expectations, No Disappoinments

How many of us heard of the line "life is unfair," quite a handful I assume. Sometimes we stumble a little other times we fall flat to the ground. Expecting for things to work out as you plan may prove to be disappointing yet you sometimes blame it on others, falling prey to your lame excuses.

Have you ever thought that maybe things happen for a reason, that others has nothing to do about it or such consequence happened because you expect too much yet you give too little. I know how it feels to disappoint a person and be disappointed in return. I had my shares, but the bottom line is when we expect too much then we most likely be disappointed with the same or of much greater magnitude. As much as we wanted life to be perfect, it would always be rough around the edges.

Don't be controlling and learn to navigate within the flow; it is when we see life as precious as ever unfolding before our very eyes. Try saying this, "I have no IDEA what's going to happen and I LOVE it."

REMEMBER: The most AMAZING thing that can happen to a human being can happen to you if you lower your EXPECTATIONS.

  1. I agree.. sometimes we set our expectation levels high and when things don't go the way we planned it, we end up hurt and disappointed. Better not to expect too much and take things as they come :)
